Allied Universal is hiring a Retail Security Guard in Surrey, BC. You will help protect a retail environment through patrols, monitoring, theft prevention, and professional customer service. The position requires a valid BC Security Worker Licence, English communication, and sound decisions under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:- Patrol retail property to deter theft and suspicious activity
- Monitor customer and employee activity throughout the property
- Respond professionally to incidents, emergencies, and security concerns
- Document suspicious behaviour, policy violations, and incidents
- Maintain activity logs and communicate with store management
- Minimum two years of security experience
- Valid BC Security Worker Licence
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Excellent observation and problem-solving skills
- Weekend and holiday availability as required
