CCTV monitoring and incident response define this Security Control Guard position with Allied Universal® in Surrey, BC. Weekday and weekend availability is required.
Allied Universal® seeks a reliable, detail-oriented Security Control or Monitor Guard for a retail environment. The full-time and casual position requires previous CCTV monitoring experience, security operations knowledge, and calm decision-making under pressure. You will help maintain safety for clients, employees, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor CCTV, alarms, and security systems
- Conduct site patrols and control property access
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, and security breaches
- Maintain incident reports and daily activity logs
- Communicate with clients, visitors, supervisors, and responders
- Minimum two years of security experience
- Previous CCTV monitoring experience is required
- Valid BC Security Worker Licence
- Strong verbal and written English communication
- Microsoft Office and Google Workspace proficiency
