Serve local businesses and the community as a Security Officer in Newton BIA, Surrey, with strong communication and patrol skills.
Commissionaires BC is recruiting a Security Officer for weekend shifts supporting its Newton BIA area work. The position requires public-facing service, extensive foot patrols, and confident de-escalation. You will work Saturday and Sunday from 0800 to 1600.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct extensive foot patrols throughout the Newton BIA area
- Work with local businesses and community members
- Deal professionally with various members of the public
- Think on your feet and solve problems
- Work independently or as part of a team
- Valid British Columbia security license
- Minimum two years of security position experience
- Basic First Aid Certificate
- Advanced Security Training Certificate
- De-escalation and Naloxone Training certifications
