Cummins is looking for an experienced Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our team in Surrey (B.C.)

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:- Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop
- Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
- Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles
- Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
- Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
- Maintain own tools
In order to succeed in this role‑you will need:
Education, Licenses,Certifications:
- Commercial or Truck and transport journeyman certification is mandatory for this position
- CVIP license is mandatory
- Locally valid driving permit (Required)
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
- Advanced level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products
- Experience providing technical advice and coaching to more junior technicians (preferred)
- Experience with full chassis repairs:
Brake Systems, A/C Diagnostics, Chassis Electrical, Transmission Repairs.
- Working hours are 630am to 5pm Tuesday-Friday (4X10 schedule).
- Union environment.
- Salary is 51.13$ hourly.
- Work is mostly on transport trucks and transit buses.
