At SMS Equipment, the right partnership makes everything possible. We’re looking for a Service Supervisor to join our team. If you’re a certified technician with mining experience and a focus on safety, quality, and customer service, we want to hear from you.
Location: Surrey, BC
Salary: $115,000 - $120,000 annually, plus incentive opportunities and eligibility for overtime.
What you’ll do:
Lead and support a team of Heavy Equipment Technicians to deliver safe, high-quality service and repairs.Plan, organize, and prioritize daily work to keep operations running efficiently.Coach and develop your team through hands-on guidance, feedback, and performance discussions.Partner with technical experts and stay current on evolving industry practices and technologies.Champion a strong safety culture through proactive inspections, training, and incident prevention.Build trusted relationships with customers, resolving issues quickly and ensuring exceptional service.Collaborate across departments to enhance the overall customer experience and operational success.What you bring:
The incumbent will have a minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in the heavy equipment industry. Additional qualifications include:
Journeyperson level certification in a relevant trade is preferred.Position requires a thorough knowledge of maintenance and repair of construction/mining equipment.Strong knowledge of safety regulations, protocols, and best practices.Strong understanding of service and branch processes.Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional service.Demonstrated ability to lead through change and influence outcomes.Valid Class 5/G driver’s license.Pre-Employment Requirements
