As a crucial member of our Family Safeguarding services, you'll engage in meaningful relationship-based social work while helping children and families navigate challenges.
Your role will include mentoring responsibilities, ensuring effective collaboration across agencies, and maintaining a manageable caseload to optimize support. Work with a committed team in a progressive local authority dedicated to high-quality practice.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and mentor less experienced team members
• Implement motivational interviewing techniques with families
• Collaborate closely with mental health and recovery professionals
• Maintain effective documentation and case management
• Build trusting relationships with families and children
Requirements:
• Social Work degree and SWE Registration required
• Valid UK driver's license with driving experience
• Relevant ASYE completed within the last two years
• At least three years of UK social work experience
• Strong background in child protection or safeguarding
