Transform the lives of newcomer women by becoming an Employment Specialist with the Coast Capital Credentialing Program. This position focuses on bridging the gap for skilled immigrants, enabling them to thrive in their careers in Canada.

The Employment Specialist is instrumental in guiding participants through the credentialing process while enhancing their employment opportunities. Offer tailored coaching, facilitate networking opportunities, and deliver workshops aimed at improving job readiness. Your expertise will help women regain their professional footing and overcome the challenges of the Canadian job market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess client skills and employment history for targeted support

• Conduct individual counseling and job search assistance

• Develop relationships with community services for effective referrals

• Create promotional materials to increase program visibility

• Track progress and compile program statistics

Requirements:

• Diploma in a relevant field or equivalent experience

• At least 1 year in career services or similar roles

• Insight into job seekers' challenges in Canada

• Proven ability to communicate effectively in English

• Proficient in social media tools for client engagement
