The ANYSH Youth Worker is responsible for fostering a positive space for adolescents in the safe house. You will handle administrative tasks, support youth development, and manage safety procedures, all while being a role model. Strong communication skills and experience in a non-profit setting are crucial for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create a caring environment for youth residents
• Administer intake and discharge paperwork
• Log visits and activities in the safe house
• Assist youth in following through on referrals
• Maintain hygiene and adhere to sanitation protocols
Requirements:
• Child and Youth Care diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license is an asset
• Experience in diverse cultural settings
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Criminal Record Check required for hiring
Contribute to the welfare of youth at ANYSH while supporting their personal growth and development.
