As a Social Work Officer, you will provide essential clinical social work services within a military environment. You will address unique challenges faced by CAF members, offering support through clinical interventions and preventive programs. This role will require you to engage with personnel, advising leaders on social circumstances while investigating compassionate situations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide clinical intervention services for personnel
• Assist in resolving compassionate situations
• Consult leaders on social issues in units
• Investigate and report on compassionate cases
• Deliver preventive programs for mental health issues
Requirements:
• Master of Social Work degree from an accredited program
• Unrestricted license to practice as a social worker
• Two years of clinical experience within the last five years
• Ability to deploy for operational missions
• Willing to collaborate with civilian agencies
