As a vital connection to community resources, this position involves outreach, advocacy, and crisis intervention to support youth health and safety. You will collaborate with various local agencies and help youth navigate high-risk situations while maintaining accurate records. This role aims to strengthen connections to services in the Circle 5 region.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist youth with referrals and information on services
• Provide crisis intervention and support attending appointments
• Track and report participant statistics to stakeholders
• Foster relationships with local organizations and agencies
• Implement a case-management approach for youth goals
Requirements:
• Degree in Child and Youth Care or related field
• At least 2 years working with Indigenous youth
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and personal vehicle
• Successful criminal record check needed
• Strong knowledge of youth resources in Surrey
