Sources Lilac Place is seeking a Casual Youth Worker to engage in therapeutic residential care. This role involves direct support to youth aged 12-18, involving recreational activities and emotional learning. Candidates should possess knowledge in trauma-informed practices, and work collaboratively to address the needs of families facing challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support youth with daily routines and community engagement

• Plan and facilitate social-emotional learning activities

• Administer medications per prescribed instructions

• Maintain accurate case management documentation

• Participate in team meetings to enhance program quality

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in psychology or related field

• Experience with at-risk youth strongly preferred

• Knowledge of mental health challenges impacting youth

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Valid BC driver's license and required certifications
