Successful candidates will hold a Social Work diploma and possess two years of community service experience.
Your role will involve outreach, advocacy, and crisis intervention for clients affected by domestic violence while fostering a strength-based approach to support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide outreach to women affected by violence
• Assess client needs and recommend services
• Conduct supportive client intakes and information sharing
• Facilitate understanding of trauma's emotional impact
• Collaborate with community organizations proactively
Requirements:
• Social Work diploma with community experience
• Understanding of trauma dynamics and coping strategies
• Proficient in professional English and one additional language
• Strong conflict resolution and mediation skills
• Valid Class 5 Drivers’ License and access to a vehicle
