Position: Options Community Services Youth Outreach Worker
Join Options Community Services as a Youth Outreach Worker, focusing on helping youth (ages 16-19) develop essential skills for life. This role emphasizes independence and resource connection in a supportive environment.

As part of our dedicated Youth Services Program, you will work closely with youth under the Ministry of Children and Family Development to create strategies for success in health, employment, and education. You'll be responsible for assessing needs, providing life skills instruction, and advocating for youth's access to community resources. Teamwork and collaboration are crucial to fostering a positive atmosphere within the program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist youth in setting and achieving personal goals

• Provide targeted life skills and problem-solving guidance

• Advocate for ongoing youth support within the community

• Maintain records and contribute to program effectiveness

• Facilitate positive and engaging activities for youth

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant youth-related experience

• Current First Aid certification essential

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle

• Police Information Check and Vulnerable Sector Check required
