As an ISSP Worker, you will support youth who are at medium to high risk of re-offending, providing one-on-one attention and tailored support. Your efforts will include developing intervention strategies, engaging community resources, and overseeing the youths' involvement in positive activities. Flexibility in scheduling allows for varied shift patterns to meet program needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement interventions for youth
• Provide direct supervision and community assistance
• Supervise compliance with court restrictions
• Connect youths to educational and vocational resources
• Support youth in building strong community relationships
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or related area
• One year of experience with high-risk youth programs
• Valid Class 5 B.C. Driver's License
• Basic First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain
• Criminal Record Clearance required
Serve as a key support figure for youth in need and promote healthier lifestyle choices at PLEA in Surrey.
