As a Pregnancy Outreach Worker reporting to the Program Manager, you will collaborate with various health and social service providers. This role focuses on assisting women at low medical risk and high social risk, including those experiencing violence, homelessness, or substance challenges. Your compassionate pro-choice approach is vital in addressing systemic barriers and supporting women's needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist women in navigating pregnancy-related services
• Collaborate with health service providers in communities
• Advocate for women facing various social risks
• Provide supportive, trauma-informed care and outreach
• Foster a safe environment that respects women's dignity
Requirements:
• Identify and live full time as a woman or non-binary
• Diploma in social services or related field
• One year experience in community social services
• Valid First Aid and Crisis Intervention certification
• Class 5 driver’s license and proof of insurance
