Indigenous Cultural Liaison Worker

As a part-time worker at Foxglove Enhanced Health Housing, you will support Indigenous individuals enduring systemic challenges through culturally informed practices.

Your role involves outreach programming, advocacy, and help with self-identified goals while fostering integration into the community. You will collaborate with program staff and provide vital daily support to enhance cultural safety and stability for your clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Walk alongside tenants to promote cultural connections

• Advocate for tenants’ access to community resources

• Implement health and recreational programming

• Assist in planning and delivering cultural events

• Provide crisis intervention and daily support services

Requirements:

• Diploma in community social services or related field

• 2 years’ experience in mental health or social services

• Current First Aid and Naloxone certifications

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License

• Clear BC Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check
