Join the Community Integration Services Branch, collaborating with the Fraser Region Aboriginal Friendship Centre Association. You will provide vital resources for Indigenous individuals experiencing homelessness, poverty, and mental health challenges in an 80-85% community-focused environment. This role requires building strong relationships with community partners and ensuring culturally relevant support for client independence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide intensive case management for Indigenous clients in need
• Coordinate housing inspections and access to care sites
• Build partnerships with service providers and Indigenous practitioners
• Apply culturally relevant, trauma-informed practices
• Maintain accurate records and compliance with service standards
Requirements:
• Self-identified Indigenous applicant (First Nations, Métis, Inuit)
• Secondary school graduation with 3 years related experience
• Experience serving Indigenous populations with complex needs
• Familiarity with community-based outreach and local Indigenous practices
• Lived experience of poverty or mental health challenges preferred
