Position: Peer Coordinator for Community Services

In this leadership role, you will provide mentorship and coordination for peer services aimed at individuals dealing with substance use, homelessness, and mental health concerns. The ideal candidate should have 2-3 years in peer support, community engagement, and experience facilitating groups. This position emphasizes a trauma-informed, culturally safe, and harm reduction approach to service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor peer support initiatives

• Facilitate community group sessions and engagement activities

• Advocate for systemic changes to access services

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and community partners

• Create pathways to health, housing, and inclusion

Requirements:

• Lived experience with substance use or mental health

• Diploma or equivalent in social services or related fields

• Minimum 2-3 years of community service experience

• Strong understanding of harm reduction principles

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
