As a member of the Maxxine Wright Pregnancy Outreach team, your focus includes assisting women dealing with homelessness, substance use, and other challenges. Collaboration with diverse health and social service providers is essential to foster healthy birth outcomes. Culturally responsive support and a commitment to anti-oppression are core to this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support women through access to health and social services
• Assist in creating safe, supportive environments for clients
• Collaborate with other providers to ensure comprehensive care
• Document client progress and service needs thoroughly
• Provide advocacy for client needs within the community
Requirements:
• Diploma in a relevant field or equivalent experience
• One year of related community service experience
• First Aid certification required within three months
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle access essential
• Strong commitment to an inclusive, anti-violence approach
