Sources is seeking a Casual Youth Justice/Development Outreach Worker, dedicated to working independently while demonstrating compassion for youth. The ideal candidate should have experience with at-risk youth, strong documentation skills, and knowledge of trauma-informed care. Your impact will be felt across the community as you support youth in developing coping skills and fulfilling community service hours.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor youth involved in the justice system
• Network with MCFD Youth Probation Officers
• Transport youth as per defined goals
• Connect youth with pro-social activities
• Complete required documentation and reports
Requirements:
• Degree in Child and Youth Care, Criminology, or related field
• Valid BC Driver's License and vehicle
• Experience with youth on probation
• Knowledge of mental health issues
• Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
Provide essential support and guidance to youth in challenging situations in this meaningful outreach role.
