Part Time Youth Support Worker Phoenix

Support at-risk youth in their transition to adulthood as a part-time Youth Support Worker at Phoenix, Center. This role focuses on building relationships and facilitating activities for young adults aged 17-24.

You will work weekends, engaging youth in the Youth & Young Adult (YAYA) Program to help them meet personal goals and reintegrate into the community. Your responsibilities include coordinating activities, addressing immediate needs, and collaborating with treatment providers to ensure a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome youth and orient them to Phoenix services

• Develop relationships with youth and young adults

• Coordinate meetings and activities for skill development

• Respond to food and clothing needs promptly

• Collaborate on treatment goals and strategies

Requirements:

• Grade 12 certificate in Community Social Service

• Minimum 1 year of experience with youth services

• Valid Class 5 driver's license and clear abstract

• First Aid and CPR-C-AED certification preferred

• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training preferred
