Child & Family Services Support Worker

Become a Child & Family Services Support Worker with SOURCES, providing vital support to families in White Rock. Focus on visitation services and family development.

In this temporary role at SOURCES, you will deliver crucial interventions to help families facing diverse challenges. The Family Support Worker will engage with families to provide protective intervention and reunification while collaborating with MCFD social workers. Your goal is to support the preservation of family units and enhance community connections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle a caseload of 10-12 families for support

• Facilitate supervised visitations and outreach services

• Work in diverse environments to maintain family structure

• Assist families in accessing necessary community resources

• Attend Integrated Case Management meetings as necessary

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with family services

• Training in Trauma Informed Practice preferred

• Strong understanding of child protection laws

• Clean and valid BC driver’s license required

• Must pass a criminal record check
