Become an Employment Specialist with DIVERSE city in Surrey. This temporary, full-time position focuses on empowering trauma survivors through employment services, combining remote and in-person support.
In this role, you'll deliver critical integration support to assist clients in their career journeys. By assessing skills and obstacles, you will tailor employment strategies that align with each client's goals. Collaborating closely with local services, you’ll ensure effective service delivery for individuals seeking stable, meaningful work.
Key Responsibilities:
• Liaise with community agencies for client recruitment
• Assess client eligibility and prepare detailed case histories
• Provide individual counseling and identify employment barriers
• Conduct and facilitate employment workshops
• Maintain accurate client records and file management
Requirements:
• Relevant diploma in Human Resources or social services
• One year of experience in career development or similar
• Familiarity with employment standards and community services
• Strong English proficiency in writing and speaking
• Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills
