Phoenix Society is hiring an Addictions Support Worker for a full-time temporary opening. This vital role involves assisting clients with mental health and substance use challenges on their journey to recovery.

As an Addictions Support Worker, you will combine case management with personal client support, advocating for their needs while promoting community engagement. Your experience and knowledge will empower individuals to enhance their skills and achieve their personal goals toward independent living.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in individualized case planning with clients

• Deliver support and life skills training as needed

• Manage client safety and behavioral monitoring

• Facilitate community workshops on mental health topics

• Connect clients to relevant community resources and services

Requirements:

• Relevant diploma in Community Social Service

• Two years’ experience with substance use support

• Familiarity with mental health issues and recovery

• Certification in First Aid and CPR

• Required completion of background checks
