Indigenous Social Worker

Position: Indigenous Social Worker at Fraser Health

As a key member of the health care team, you will engage in culturally relevant counseling and support for First Nations, Métis, and Inuit populations. This role involves developing recovery care plans, assessing client needs, and working closely with other services and community partners. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct culturally appropriate assessments of client needs

• Deliver case management and consultation services

• Create and evaluate care plans in collaboration with clients

• Assist clients in navigating the health system

• Participate in providing cultural teaching and support

Requirements:

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Social Work

• At least two years of relevant experience

• Experience with Indigenous communities

• Registration with BC College of Social Workers

• Access to a personal vehicle for work
