Help create positive change as a Transition House Worker at Options Community Services in Surrey, BC. Support those in need with essential resources and compassionate care during their transitions.

As a casual on-call worker, your responsibilities will include client intake assessments, ensuring safety, and providing crucial resources. Engage in community collaboration, offer First Aid when necessary, and work towards advocating for women and children facing challenges related to domestic violence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct intake and safety assessments for new clients

• Maintain records and document program-related expenses

• Foster a safe and hygienic living environment

• Develop safety plans for children and support mothers

• Respond to critical incidents and provide immediate assistance

Requirements:

• Diploma in a related human/social service area

• Minimum one year of applicable experience

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• First Aid/CPR certification required

• Reliable vehicle preferred for commute
