As a vital team member, you will assist clients with activities of daily living while ensuring a healthy facility environment. Reporting directly to the Program Manager, your contributions will significantly impact the lives of those you serve.
Your role includes administering medication and leading recreational activities while maintaining comprehensive records.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support clients’ personal hygiene and daily living skills
• Manage and document medication administration
• Lead and oversee client community outings
• Assist with household chores necessary for client care
• Provide feedback and documentation on client progress
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 and community service certificate
• Experience in social services is beneficial
• Criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening
• First Aid and CPR certifications required
• Participate in NVCI training
Positively influence client lives with hands-on support and effective communication skills as a Program Assistant.
