In this temporary full-time role, you'll assist youth and young families by offering personalized outreach and goal-oriented strategies. Collaborating with social workers, you will deliver crisis intervention and equip families with vital parenting skills. Your work will directly impact the lives of young parents, helping them thrive in their communities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide one-on-one support to young parents
• Coordinate with social workers for effective outreach
• Deliver crisis intervention and parenting assistance
• Assist families in connecting to community resources
• Facilitate personal development and independence strategies
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Child and Youth Care or related field
• Current First Aid certificate required
• Experience with crisis line support preferred
• Class 5 Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
• Commitment to cultural sensitivity and confidentiality
