This full-time, temporary role is focused on supporting youth with complex care needs, including mental health and behavioral challenges. You will play a crucial part in their educational, recreational, and life skill development while ensuring a safe environment. Serving as a trusted support, you'll implement strategies to help youth navigate challenges and strengthen community ties.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate one-on-one activities for youth
• Provide close supervision and emotional support
• Develop and implement individualized support plans
• Teach life skills and promote community engagement
• Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or related field
• One year experience with high-risk youth
• Knowledge of youth care best practices
• Valid BC Driver's License needed
• First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
