This role involves assessing young individuals who present with mental health difficulties or behavioral issues. You will be responsible for delivering targeted interventions, maintaining compliance with SABP procedures, and working collaboratively with families and educational institutions. Your outreach efforts will take you into the community, promoting engagement and trust.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and respond to mental health referrals for youth
• Implement goal-oriented interventions collaboratively
• Work with families and schools to foster support networks
• Complete risk assessments and necessary documentation
• Engage actively with young people in various environments
Requirements:
• Relevant experience in mental health or youth care
• Ability to build rapport with vulnerable youth
• Knowledge of safeguarding practices and legislation
• Valid driving license and transportation access
• Proficient IT skills for documentation
