PhoenixCenter Youth Support Worker

Join Phoenix Center as a Youth Support Worker and help guide youth towards a brighter future. This part-time, permanent position focuses on supporting young adults aged 17-24 during essential night shifts.

Your primary role involves fostering trusting relationships while assisting youth with their immediate needs and longer-term goals as part of their care plan. In collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, you will provide crucial support through direct engagement and the organization of activities, creating an environment conducive to their healing and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide the entry process for services at Phoenix Center

• Foster relationships with young adults in need

• Coordinate and conduct life skills and recreational activities

• Assist clients with day-to-day living and safety

• Complete necessary documentation and reporting

Requirements:

• Completion of Grade 12

• One year of related community service experience

• Valid driver's license with a clean record

• Certification in First Aid/CPR and Food Safe preferred
