Expected Compensation: The expected hiring range for this role is $140,000- $163,000, with a 35-hour work week. Your rate of pay will be determined based on your individual qualifications and experience, while considering internal equity.

As our Senior Manager, Application Development, you will lead and mentor a cross‑functional, AI‑augmented engineering team responsible for delivering secure, scalable web, API, and intelligent applications.

You’ll play a key role in modernizing our development practices, integrating AI into our workflows, and ensuring our systems are resilient, high‑performing, and aligned with business goals.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 10+ years in software development, including 3+ years in leadership or managerial roles
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams and guiding projects end‑to‑end
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Dev Ops, microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and automated testing practices
• Knowledge of AI integration, including using AI coding assistants, LLMs, AI APIs, and frameworks like Lang Chain or Semantic Kernel in commercial software
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Lead, mentor, and manage a cross‑functional development team, fostering a collaborative and high‑performance culture
• Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and support career growth while adjusting team composition to meet business priorities
• Oversee the full software development lifecycle (planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and support) for secure web and API applications
• Collaborate with product owners and business analysts to turn business requirements into technical solutions and ensure timely delivery
