Senior Guidewire Software Engineer

Join a dynamic team as a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Guidewire Claim Center. This contract role offers flexibility with potential for remote work alongside onsite collaboration.

This six-month contract is based in Canada with flexible location options, ideally close to a client office. As a Senior Developer, you will engage deeply with Guidewire Cloud (Mammoth version) to build and enhance complex business applications. Your expertise in Agile frameworks will streamline the development process while fostering collaboration and mentorship within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of application features

• Manage the software development lifecycle from start to finish

• Conduct peer code reviews and provide mentorship to juniors

• Collaborate on technical designs with stakeholders

• Ensure high-quality delivery through automated testing

Requirements:

• 5+ years of development experience on Guidewire Claim Center

• Proficient with Guidewire Cloud; certification is a plus

• Strong skills in GOSU, web services, and database management

• Experience in the Insurance industry preferred

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
