Become a crucial part of Muon's Software Test team as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on innovative testing infrastructure. Drive improvements in velocity and capabilities while working from our San Jose office.
In this pivotal role, you will enhance our software testing processes and tools using your expert knowledge of Hardware-in-the-Loop systems and simulations. Working alongside engineers, your responsibilities also include mentoring team members and ensuring alignment with company goals through reliable planning and estimation. Key technologies used include Python, Git, and CI/CD procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop software testing infrastructure with hardware capabilities
• Break down complex goals into achievable proposals
• Integrate feedback to refine testing tools
• Design novel test scenarios to improve coverage
• Collaborate on integrating simulation tools in testing
Requirements:
• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
• Over 8 years of software engineering experience
• Proficiency in Python and version control systems
• Familiar with Linux systems and Docker technology
• Strong presentation and communication skills
