Crossover Athletics South Surrey/Hyrox and Rehabilitation Center is a performance-driven and rehabilitation-focused training facility serving the South Surrey–White Rock community since 2005. Known as the first Cross Fit gym, first Hyrox affiliate, and the longest-serving fitness center in the area, we bring over 21 years of expertise in helping individuals train smarter, move better, and stay strong for life. Offering an integrated approach, we combine strength and conditioning classes, Hyrox training, physiotherapy, naturopathy, personal training, and technique-focused coaching under one roof.
Our inclusive programs serve individuals across all fitness levels, including beginners, experienced athletes, teens, older adults, and rehabilitation clients. Each workout is personalized, ensuring scalability and progress for all participants in a supportive and collaborative group setting.
The very part time Group Fitness Instructor role involves delivering high-quality group exercise and fitness instruction tailored to meet the unique needs of each participant. Responsibilities include leading structured and scalable fitness classes, coaching participants, monitoring their performance, promoting safe exercise techniques, and adapting workouts to varying fitness levels. The instructor will also provide exceptional customer service, build positive relationships with clients, and contribute to the community atmosphere of our gym.
This is an on-site role based at our facility in Surrey, BC.
- Experience in Group Exercise and Fitness Instruction to effectively lead and engage participants in structured classes.
- Proficiency in Personal Training and knowledge of the Fitness Industry to provide tailored support and guidance to clients.
- Strong Customer Service skills to build positive relationships and foster a welcoming environment for all members.
- A passion for health and fitness with the ability to adapt workouts for varying fitness levels and ensure participant safety.
- Relevant certifications such as Group Fitness, Personal Training, or related credentials are preferred.
- Experience or knowledge of Hyrox programming and biomechanics-based coaching is an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to motivate and inspire clients.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team of health professionals and coaches.
