- Demonstrate and instruct athletic, fitness or sports activities and techniques
- Keep logs and maintain records

- Assist with coordination of recreational, sport and fitness events
- Lead groups and individuals in recreational or leisure programs
- Plan and carry out recreational, fitness and sports activities
- Maintain and repair sports equipment
- Prepare reports
- Understand principles of group dynamics
- Leading/instructing groups
- Leading/instructing individuals
- Provide lifestyle awareness information
- Conduct therapeutic recreational or athletic activities
- Assist clients/guests with special needs
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
- Assemble supplies, sports and game equipment
- Monitor recreational, sports or fitness activities to ensure safety and provide emergency or first aid assistance when required

- Education:
Completion of secondary education is required - Experience:
A minimum of 1 year of experience is required. If the worker does not have 1 year of experience, then completion of a college program in recreation or physical education is required. - Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
Attention to detail, Work under pressure, Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Standing for extended periods. - Personal Suitability:

English is required - Weight handling: 40 lbs
- Ability to supervise at least 100 people.
- Work site environment:
Noisy, Heights.
36.60 Hourly, 36 hours per week.

Important InformationFlexibility on schedule is required. The regular schedule is from Monday to Thursday, from 1:30 pm to 8:30 pm and on Sundays from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Schedule may vary depending on the business needs. Supervision of activities outside of regular shift required.
