Afternoon Outbound Operations Supervisor

We are currently seeking an Afternoon Outbound Operations Supervisor to lead and manage outbound dock operations at our Surrey terminal. This role is critical to ensuring freight moves safely, efficiently, and on schedule while maintaining strong service standards across our network.

The successful candidate will be a hands‑on leader with solid LTL experience, strong people skills, and a clear understanding of outbound loading, linehaul cut-offs, and service commitments.

Shift: Monday‑Friday 14:00‑22:30

Location: 11398 Bridgeview Dr, Surrey, BC V3R 0C2

• Supervise and coordinate afternoon/evening outbound dock operations
• Ensure freight is loaded accurately, safely, and on time to meet linehaul schedules
• Lead, coach, and support dock staff, shunt drivers, and loaders
• Monitor trailer utilization, cube, weight distribution, and load quality
• Enforce safety policies, procedures, and company standards at all times
• Communicate with dispatch, linehaul, customer service, and terminal leadership
• Identify service risks and take proactive steps to minimize delays or misses
• Track productivity, damages, and service metrics
• Assist with staffing, training, and performance management as required

• 2+ years of supervisory experience in an LTL terminal environment (preferred)
• Strong understanding of outbound LTL operations and linehaul cut-offs
• Experience leading union work forces
• Knowledge of Canadian transportation regulations and safety standards
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced dock environment
• Strong communication, organization, and decision‑making skills
• Forklift and dock operations experience considered an asset
