Position Overview:
Recycle-It Canada provides compliant, environmentally responsible waste diversion and recycling services across the Lower Mainland. We are seeking a Field Operations & Truck Driver to support on-site waste collection, material handling, and transportation between client locations, depots, and downstream facilities.

This role is primarily field-based and involves driving company trucks, performing site cleanups, handling materials, and supporting depot operations as required.

Core Responsibilities:

• Operate company 1–5 ton trucks to collect and transport waste and recyclable materials.
• Perform on-site waste collection, cleanup, loading, and material handling at client locations.
• Safely load and unload materials using hand tools and equipment.
• Sort and process recyclable, non-recyclable, and hazardous materials as required.
• Ensure proper segregation and compliant disposal of materials.
• Follow SOPs, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Complete basic job notes, waste tracking, and documentation.
• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and supervisors.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with clean abstract.
• Comfortable with physical outdoor work in all weather.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
• Willingness to handle regulated and hazardous materials after training.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Preferred (Assets):

• TDG Certification.
• Forklift Certification.
• Hazardous Waste/Asbestos Awareness.
• First Aid.
• Waste, recycling, construction, or industrial field experience.
