Valid driver's License (Class 1 or equivalent);
Air Brakes Endorsement OR the ability to obtain Class 1 licence with Air Brakes Endorsement

• Operate and drive tractor‑trailer, long combination vehicles & straight trucks weighing over 5000 GVW to transport goods and materials;
• Responsible for planning scheduled trip logistics and to obtain required documentation from office.
• Load and unload goods as and when required
• Receive & relay information to central dispatch
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection of vehicle systems, equipment and accessories such as tires, lights and turning signals, brakes etc.
• Ensure cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety requirements and follow safety procedures
• Record and maintain cargo information, logbook, distance travelled and vehicle's fuel consumption.
• Manually and/or electronically maintain logbook.
• Operate GPS systems effectively
• May drive as part of a two‑person team
