Location Surrey BC Warehouse nd Street, Unit #102, Surrey, BC V3Z 3X1
Shift Times Monday to Friday 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, 40 hours per week
Responsibilities Ensure discrepancies are handled according to proper procedure.
Bundle, wrap or band material for shipment.
Carry needed tools or supplies from storage or trucks and return them after use.
Carry out general yard duties such as housekeeping, cleanup, inventory/material counts and general organization.
Install protective devices such as bracing, padding, or strapping to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.
Load and unload cargo using a sit‑down forklift.
Maintain equipment storage areas to ensure that inventory is protected.
Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, or containers, by hand or using trucks, tractors, or other equipment.
Pack containers and re-pack damaged containers.
Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.
Sort and identify cargo before loading and unloading and compare to shippers.
Stack cargo in locations as directed using pallets or cargo boards.
Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information.
Work safely by following all MiTek health & safety procedures and policies.
Qualifications High school degree or equivalent.
Previous experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
Forklift experience preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively.
Good communication skills.
Team player.
