• Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions using GPS, navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
• Arrange travel itinerary and make reservations
• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
• Load and unload goods
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
• Oversee vehicle condition including inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
• Pay and receive payments for goods
• Perform brake adjustments
• Perform emergency roadside repairs
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled and fuel consumption
• Tarp cargo to ensure safety and security

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Driver's license (Class 1 or

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
