Overview
Canstar Trucking Co. Ltd. located at 2593 Lavender Crt, Abbotsford BC V3G 3E7 has an immediate vacancy for 1 Short Haul Truck Driver.
Term of employment:
Full-time, Permanent Position with 40 hours per week.
Job location:
Travel across BC with the base at 9815 Robson Rd, Surrey BC V3V 2R9.
Shifts:
Weekdays, Weekends, Evenings. Salary: $37 per hour, overtime after 45 hours per week at the rate of 1.5 times.
- Operate and drive trucks/trailers to transport goods and material to destinations.
- Oversee all aspects of the vehicle such as condition of equipment, loading and unloading, and safety and security of cargo.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspection of vehicle systems and equipment.
- Coordinate with dispatcher and customers.
- Credentials:
Class 1 or A driver's license with air brake endorsement. - Education:
High School - Experience:
No experience required. On the job training will be provided.
- Basic English
- Clean driving abstract
