Maximize your driving potential as a Linehaul Driver, operating your own vehicle to haul freight across Western Canada during overnight shifts. This position requires a commitment to safety and excellence in transport services.
In this driver role, you will transport freight between terminals, ensuring secure loads and thorough trip inspections. You will follow all safety regulations and comply with legislation regarding transport operations. Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude are essential as you coordinate with loading crews to facilitate smooth loading and unloading procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle cargo carefully and secure loads
• Perform essential vehicle and load inspections
• Adhere to transport safety regulations
• Position trucks for loading or unloading effectively
• Work collaboratively with crew members
Requirements:
• Must have a Class 1 driver’s license
• Clean commercial driving abstract is required
• At least 2 years of driving experience needed
• Knowledge of Western Canadian geography essential
• Willingness to obtain LCV certification required
