You will need a Class 1 or A Driver's License to succeed in this permanent role. Responsibilities include operating tractor-trailers, conducting vehicle inspections, and managing load security. The job demands attention to detail and can involve long hours, requiring flexibility for early morning to night shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive as part of a two-person team in convoy settings
• Ensure the proper loading and unloading of goods
• Perform necessary vehicle and road inspections
• Maintain accurate records of cargo and fuel consumption
• Tarp loads to secure them during transport
Requirements:
• Completed secondary school education required
• Class 1 or A Driver's License necessary
• Experience in truck driving is an asset
• Capable of managing large workloads and repetitive tasks
• Willing to work variable hours, including weekends
