Take on a vital logistics role with Warehouse, Stores as a Stores Assistant in Surrey. Your focus will be on managing stock levels and ensuring efficient delivery of materials and furniture.
We're looking for a proactive Stores Assistant to support our Property team. This full-time position involves managing deliveries, ensuring accurate inventory, and safe transport of various items across properties in Surrey. You'll also handle paperwork and assist in building and dismantling furniture as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Verify deliveries against documentation received
• Load and unload furniture and equipment engagingly
• Ensure protection of items during transport
• Deliver materials to multiple locations efficiently
• Maintain detailed stock records and assist inventory
Requirements:
• Experience in warehouse or logistics operations
• Skills in handling and assembling furniture
• Training in manual handling is a plus
• Competence in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Clean UK driving licence required
