Join us as a Part-Time Bus Driver to safely transport residents, staff, and volunteers on outings. This role ensures a secure environment while offering excellent interpersonal support.
This temporary position, lasting approximately two months, will start on May 5, 2026. As a skilled Bus Driver, you’ll need strong problem-solving abilities and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities include conducting safety checks and assisting residents, especially those in wheelchairs, throughout various outings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Transport residents safely to appointed destinations
• Maintain the bus cleanliness and safety components
• Perform regular maintenance checks on the vehicle
• Assist passengers on and off the bus safely
• Communicate professionally with residents and staff
Requirements:
• Current Class 4 Driver's License with Bus Certification
• At least 1 year driving a Class 4 vehicle
• First Aid Certification required
• Ability to work with seniors preferred
• Pass a Criminal Record Check
