The Shipping Team Lead position requires a strong background in warehouse operations, providing guidance and training to team members. You will manage tasks such as order staging, load accuracy, and shipping documentation. As a key point of communication between the shipping team and supervisors, you will help improve efficiency, quality, and safety within the operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Train new hires and cross-train existing associates
• Ensure on-time, in-full delivery of shipments
• Coordinate labor, equipment, and workflow across shipping areas
• Monitor adherence to quality standards and identify process gaps
• Communicate updates and manage team priorities effectively
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years in a Distribution Centre or warehouse
• Proficient with WMS and RF scanning technology
• Strong understanding of logistics flow and processes
• Ability to lift 20-50 lbs and perform physical tasks
• Valid MHE certification or willingness to obtain
