Class 1 Shunt Driver Night Shift

NSSL is hiring Class 1 Shunt Drivers for full-time night and afternoon shifts in Surrey, BC. Join a safety-focused company with over 20 years of experience in yard management.

As a Class 1 Shunt Driver, you will be responsible for transporting loads safely and efficiently between load and dock locations. Candidates must possess a valid Class 1 license, efficient backing skills, and a clean abstract. Your commitment to safety will be critical in performing routine vehicle checks and maintaining cleanliness in the vehicle while adhering to company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate shunt trucks between loading and docking areas

• Perform routine checks on vehicle condition

• Ensure safe and efficient transport of loads

• Comply with all company regulations and policies

• Maintain cleanliness of the shunt truck

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 driver's license

• 1 year of trucking experience preferred

• Strong trailer backing and parking skills

• Clean abstract and criminal record

• Emphasis on safe work conduct
