Join First Student as a Monitor/Aide, specializing in the safety and support of student transport. Play a key operational role while promoting a secure journey.
As a Monitor/Aide at First Student, you will ensure the safety and well-being of passengers during their daily commutes. The responsibilities include monitoring routes, assisting in bus operations, and participating in safety meetings. Ideal candidates are those who prioritize excellent communication and efficient problem-solving, fostering a positive travel experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Remain alert to monitor passengers' welfare
• Communicate issues and assist the driver effectively
• Conduct essential pre and post inspections on buses
• Direct and assist students during loading/unloading
• Execute emergency evacuations when necessary
Requirements:
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and attentiveness
• Availability early in the mornings
• Proven judgement and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to handle high-stress situations
