Education:

No degree, certificate or diploma. Work setting:
Various locations. Tasks:
Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy. Load and unload goods. Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials. Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment. Perform brake adjustments. Perform emergency roadside repairs. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.

Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses:
Air Brake (Z) Endorsement. Driver's License (Class 1 or

A). Documentation knowledge:
Driver logbook. Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip). Maintenance and repair reports. Trip reports. Security and safety:
Criminal record check. Driving record check (abstract). Drug test. Employment terms options:
Early morning. Evening. Morning.

Experience:

No experience (will train). Employment terms options:
Day. Weekend. Overtime available.
